Sphere is a multiplayer map, released as part of the season 3 reloaded content for Call of Duty Vanguard.
My role was to provide environment art direction, working with the team to develop the various looks, compositions and themes across the map. I also got to make a couple of materials and do a polish pass on the part of the underground facility.
This map exemplifies how good the team is at contextualising tricky themes (like a secret experimental weapons facility within an abandoned mine) while maintaining readability and cohesive storytelling.
