Completely procedural Fried egg done in Substance Designer. I wanted to see how far I could push the realism and flexibility of this seemingly simple object in Designer. The GIF describes some of the exposed parameters that control various elements within the graph, taking the egg through the various stages of cooking.
There were many challenges and also a lot learned through the process. Thanks to the 10K Facebook community and my colleagues and students at AIE for the valuable advice and feedback.
